actually, Indian ring-neck parrot is not legal as pets in India. budgies also come in single color(only full yellow or white) an can be good talkers if properly tamed and spoken with clearly and regularly. other prolific talking parrot is African grey but it comes in grey color with red tail and costs around 40,000 to 45,000 rs. but the budgies will cost you around 150 per bird and 300 to 350 per pair. male budgies are good talkers and females generally do not talk (but this is not a rule). cockatiels (not cockatoos) can sing songs (with whistles)

I feed him with my hands but now he is around 3 months learn to fly but unable too talk till now? I spend lot of quality time with him. He understand my voice when I call him by name or whistle. hello, i have 3 pairs of budgies, but none of the them have laid eggs or mated yet, please suggest me how can i help them in providing favorable mating condition and please help me in there daily diet also i.e. what type of vegetables and fruits can be feed to them. would be thankful to you.
hey deven first of all classify the sex of your budgerigars the males have royal blue or light purple cere (cere is a place situated above to the beak with there nostrils) and females cere is yelloish or brown and kept them all in a single cage with nest in peace away from sounds and all that ...... hope this will help you to make them mating

I need to know more about my budgies. All 4 are females. Tinkerbell Venus Sunny And Tara. They are my new babies. I have never really nurtured a bird as my own baby. I have just always had them in mu balconies ... you know the pigeons. Since i have budgies now I want to know and learn as much as possible for a better living for all of us together.
